Can these two ever get along?
Can these two ever get along?

Election 2016 – The second presidential debate was last night. As we all know, while Hillary Clinton kept her cool and stayed focus on the issues that matter to the American Public. Donald Trump did not disappoint us with his typical ranting and putting the blame on everyone that can hold a candle. He is a real bully. He even disagrees with his own running Vice-President. This election is about Donald Trump being #1. He wants to win for himself. The Republican are at arm wits trying desperately to find a safe heaven with their candidate. In my book, Clinton is 2-0 with this big win again.

Hurricane Matthew

Hurricane Matthew – This was a very nasty storm. The damage and devastation it caused, hasn’t been seen in decades. I can personally tell you, we were without power. It was an ordeal to get fuel, supplies. My back yard is in shambles. My dog was terrified. My children were scared. We had no means of communication with the outside world since everything we own is run on power. We were without power for 2 a day and what save us was we are close to City Hall and I guess we are in the same grind as them. But when we lost the internet,  for 2 1/2  days. If  you are like me, who works using the internet this was a downpour. We give  thanks, to the utilities and Brighthouse for the heroic tireless effort to restored everyone life back to normal. For those who has lost their home, our prayers are with you. Just remember, you can always rebuild, a lost life is worst.

Mad As Hell Part 2

I haven’t done this segment in a long time. Today is one of those days, when you really have to express yourself about the little things that really, really irritate you a bit.x4aaf4su9q

I guess Wednesday has turned into a Monday for me, today. So let’s begin.

Drivers– Yes, drivers. There should be a law after so many years you should be given a road test again. Mine you, I probably would not pass it either. But there are some real characters on the road. Take this morning. I am driving my 7-year-old to school. This woman cuts in front of me as she makes an illegal left turn gives me the finger. Honestly, I laugh at her stupidity. Then I realise she is the reason women drivers get so bad rep.

Finances– Yes, the saga of bill paying. As in every relationship, there is one-half that is better at this than the other. Unfortunately, in my household, my husband fails at this miserably. From time to time, I let him handle the finances so he can see, it’s not an easy job. So today  his truck payment is late. (Sorry sweetie, I had to put it out there). Yes, my husband read this blog. He knows I am fuming at this point.

Charity Work– Being an advocate against Animal Abuse it is not an easy job. Each of us gives our time, resources and talent for a good cause. I  made a magazine called Max And Friends (it’s free)  I am taking donations for local shelters. Right now we stand at 0% donated. This makes me sad.

Bloggers– I love my community on WordPress.com. I do have other sites that I manage at WordPress.org this one is always home for me. I do not like when other bloggers take your idea and run away with it and make it their own. That is wrong. This has happened to me several times already.

Disrespect– We were taught as children to be respectful of others. Why all of a sudden all you see, hear and read is how angry and disrespectful everyone has become. Honestly, I seriously believe there is something in the food to make people so angry. Just a thought.

Donald_Trump(1)Donald Trump – “You’re Hired!”. The Republican Party has spoken, after so many months of Flip Flop with “The Donald”, finally they have conceded giving Mr. Donald Trump the nomination he needs to move forward for his dream to become the next President Of The United States of America.

StopViolenceViolence  in America – is at an all-time high. Many believe our nation is definitely divided. Too much violence and not enough gun control are the key issues which will come to play in this year election. Let’s hope Donald Trump is up to the challenge if he wins on November 8th.

Arturo The Lonely BearArturo “The Loneliest Bear”

This article is presented courtesy of  Wikipedia.org

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arturo_(polar_bear)

Arturo (1985 – July 3, 2016) was a polar bear living in Mendoza Zoological Park inMendoza, Argentina, the only polar bear living in the country. He was born in the United States and transferred to Argentina in 1993. His companion, a female named Pelusa, died of cancer in 2012. The living conditions of the cage Arturo resided in were controversial, as temperatures reach up to 40°C in Argentina, and the pool in Arturo’s cage was only 20 inches deep. Animal rights activists had, in response, dubbed Arturo the “world’s saddest animal” and promoted a petition to have him moved to Assiniboine Park Zoo, a zoo inWinnipeg, Canada. The petition was created by Laura Morales of Hamilton, Ontario. It gained considerable attention after the hashtag #Freearturo began trending on Twitter. Supporters of the petition also noted that a polar bear died in Buenos Aires in December 2012 due to excessive heat, and argued that Arturo exhibited symptoms of depression and other mental health problems.

As of July 19, 2014, the petition had over 400,000 signatures and had been endorsed by Newt Gingrich and Cher. Assiniboine Park Zoo responded that while they would’ve gladly accepted Arturo there, they did not have the authority to do so unless Argentina agreed to transfer him there and that the Mendoza zoo could not supply the necessary medical records to make such a trip possible.

On July 24, 2014, the director of the Mendoza Zoo, Gustavo Pronotto, told the Associated Press that Arturo was too old to be moved to Canada. In social media, people also advocated for Arturo to be moved to Canada. and Twitter hashtag #FreeArturo.

On July 3, 2016, Arturo died.

Hilary R. Clinton

The Woman Card– As Donald Trump favorites calls her, Is Hilary really up to the challenge to become our next president? The odds are strongly against her. The majority of American are seeking justice and old values to be imposed once against with-out thinking about the consequences it may bring. They might elect Donald Trump just because he voices their “anger” and frustration. Trump doesn’t bring solutions to the table. He brings more showmanship, he treats this nation with ignorance. The solutions may sound good, but a real thinker always knows “what may look good on paper, may not actually work in reality.”

Sandersv2016

Bernie Sanders – While Senator Sanders still hasn’t conceded his primary election to be over, he still has time to join the Sit-in Protest Inaction on Gun Control.

We do remember Sanders is running against Hilary Clinton in the same Democratic Party for the Presidential Office. We praise Senator Sanders for his hard work in the Gun Control movement. This has come about after 49 people die and 53 injured in the Pose Night Club Shooting.

Baby BluYulin Dog Festival 2016 – Advocates are hard at work savings life of dogs and cats. This festival runs during the month of June for 10 days. A puppy that was still in the mother’s wound developing. The mother was gutted alive and the puppy was thrown to the ground as seen on videos around the internet.  We are happy to report the puppy is currently in an incubator and is doing fine. Jaguar-Rio-2Rio De Janeiro, Brazil – As customary to have an official Olympic Torch Rally, Brazil decided to add a jaguar to the festivities. Unfortunately, this backfired. The jaguar named Juma, was killed by a Brazilian Soldier after it made a daring attempt to escape the festivities. Mad As Hell! The Series

New Canvas
This is my “Mad As Hell!” pix my daughter Ana Rui, did for my new segment.

There is a saying, “Bad news comes in three.”….but let me tell you there are times, bad news do escalate to 4 or 5. You just don’t think you will ever get a break…………

You have your last twenty dollars in your pocket, payday is not for another three days or so. You will be okay for the weekend, you have some food, plenty of streaming videos to watch, your car has about a little over a 1/4 tank left. Just don’t answer the door or any calls. Your friends will think you went away for the weekend.

Instead you are home stressing about your financial dilemma you created when you had to be off work without pay for a week, because of that nasty eye infection you caught for keeping your  contacts on 24/7 when you shouldn’t.

Now you owe the hospital on your insurance deductible, had to throw away all your contact and solution, but the worst part is you are stuck using those old glasses you had put away in your junk drawer.

You are happy that you still had twenty dollars left on you, and you  rush to the store, to  get some smokes and some beer. You get your items and feeling very good at this point, when it time to pay for your groceries, you can’t find your money. You check every pocket in your jeans, you do a hard mental recall of all the things and places you have been since you had seen that twenty dollars in your pocket and decided against put in the in your wallet, feeling it was going to be more safe in your front pocket with the last crumble receipt you just threw away 10 minutes ago in the parking lot. Horrify, you quickly, explain to the cashier your situation, getting no petty from her, you dash away to look for your money.

You look long and hard at the ground, thinking a magical arrow will appear and point the way. Everyone in the parking lot look suspicious. You can’t just simply accused or asked anybody if they found your money. You know they will lie. You still look and look, with the sad conclusion your last twenty dollars are gone.

With shame and anger you head home. You didn’t even bother to go back to the store to explain. You are angry, “Mad As Hell”.

You feel you have been violated, cheated, single out and simply outrage with the bad luck you are having. It’s just not fair. You needed that money to past the weekend a little better and not cold turkey.

Maybe its a sign from God! Did you wrong someone? Are you being hex? Nah!

In the end you feel, maybe someone else needed it more….

Like the saying says…”Finders keepers, looser weeper……”

Tell us your mad as hell anecdote or story…..love to share it here.

Thank you,

Violence – A Rising Epidemic!

StopViolenceViolence is on the rise, it hitting closer to home every single day. The Media has informed us, shocked us, terrorized us with graphic details of this catastrophic epidemic. We are no longer safe, our children are no longer safe!

Are you starting to wonder if this might be last time your will see your children, your siblings, your spouses, your parents, your grandchildren – over all your “love ones”?

This is down right scary, we all have enough stress in our daily life to add another fear to our list. The question of owning a gun  and exercising our rights under the “2nd amendment” is becoming a dinner topic on our family table.

Is the government, federal, state, city and county level doing enough to maintained this growing chaos under arms? Are we doing enough to maintained our freedom and safety? What happend with our sacred laws “thou shalt not kill,” “honor thy mother and father”, “Love thy neighbor”? Are these just myths?

Columbine, Virginia Tech, Aurora Movie Theater, Sandy Hook, and just recently as we speak the incident at Taft High School in California are becoming more and more frequent and horrifying. These incident should had never happen, but they did.

The solution by our Government and politicians  has been to re-instated the VAWA of 1994.

VAWA Act of 1994, has been re-written time and time again. Politicians have instituted and expired this act over the last 9 years, now bringing it again, because of these incidents.

Is this measurement enough?

“This topic is to large and broad to just write or express my thoughts in one single page. My staff and myself have decided to do this article on a 3-part series starting 2014. We are currently doing our research and work to bring you the best information we can obtain.”

Our series will start with “Violence Against Women”

God Bless and see you next week.
