Sometimes, I forget who I have to give thanks for all the wonderful things I am able to accomplish. This is my way of saying “Thank You.”

Do numbers really count for you when you blog? Are you blogging for money, recognition or just because you enjoy spending time writing content on your blog?
Do you have a Twitter or a Facebook Account? Does it bother you when you lose followers or friends in these accounts? Does it make you lose sleep wondering, what you did wrong?
When you started blogging, the main reason was to help others with the knowledge you have. To seek others like yourself and share your information.
For me, it has never been about any type of monetary compensation. It has been about sharing my opinion. Sharing the articles, bringing more awareness to issues that matter most to us.
For the new bloggers out there, welcome to the blogging world. My advice to you, write about what you like. Do not worry how many followers you have or didn’t get today. You are informing a community, you are helping someone out there with your words.
You have opened a road, “the road of knowledge”, you are their voice. You are their inspiration. The words you write today will be immortal. Choose them well.
Have fun! Bring irony to the situation, but most of all always bring hope and peace in the article you write. You have taken a very important job. Self-satisfaction will be your reward.
The minimalist live style started back in the 1950. Basically, you live with less, much less about 100 things.
Today is a big trend. The simplicity of art, media, and lifestyle has evolved into this new (yet old) culture. To be a minimalist is to free yourself of stress, clutter, things that are not so much important. To enjoy life to the fullest with family, friends, eat right, value simplicity.
Look around you, de-clutter yourself of material things that no longer have value. Ask yourself, do you really need 10 or 20 pairs of shoes? Do you need so many clothes? Is your closet full of clothes that you no longer use? Does your home have to look like a museum in order to make you feel better? Is having so many electronic devices good for you?
Would it really hurt you to have maybe 1 or 2 credit cards instead of the 10 you are carrying around? Is it really necessary to upgrade your car or phone every year?
There is an old saying, “You can’t take it with you when you die.”
For some of us, living with less has always been our struggle. There is nothing fancy or easy with having less. We just cannot afford it. Now, it’s a new way of life.
Can you live with less? Ask yourself. You might be surprised with your answer.
I haven’t done this segment in a long time. Today is one of those days, when you really have to express yourself about the little things that really, really irritate you a bit.
I guess Wednesday has turned into a Monday for me, today. So let’s begin.
Drivers– Yes, drivers. There should be a law after so many years you should be given a road test again. Mine you, I probably would not pass it either. But there are some real characters on the road. Take this morning. I am driving my 7-year-old to school. This woman cuts in front of me as she makes an illegal left turn gives me the finger. Honestly, I laugh at her stupidity. Then I realise she is the reason women drivers get so bad rep.
Finances– Yes, the saga of bill paying. As in every relationship, there is one-half that is better at this than the other. Unfortunately, in my household, my husband fails at this miserably. From time to time, I let him handle the finances so he can see, it’s not an easy job. So today his truck payment is late. (Sorry sweetie, I had to put it out there). Yes, my husband read this blog. He knows I am fuming at this point.
Charity Work– Being an advocate against Animal Abuse it is not an easy job. Each of us gives our time, resources and talent for a good cause. I made a magazine called Max And Friends (it’s free) I am taking donations for local shelters. Right now we stand at 0% donated. This makes me sad.
Bloggers– I love my community on WordPress.com. I do have other sites that I manage at WordPress.org this one is always home for me. I do not like when other bloggers take your idea and run away with it and make it their own. That is wrong. This has happened to me several times already.
Disrespect– We were taught as children to be respectful of others. Why all of a sudden all you see, hear and read is how angry and disrespectful everyone has become. Honestly, I seriously believe there is something in the food to make people so angry. Just a thought.
Thank you for reading my blog. It means a lot to me.

Eating healthy can be a challenge especially if you are on a budget. If your family is not on board with you about not eating meat, sometimes you will be forced to cook double meals.
What I usually do is try to cook thing, that I can eat as well as the rest of my family.
Brown rice, whole-grain pasta, beans are a great source of good carbohydrates.
Potatoes are also a great source of protein, they are sodium free, cholesterol free, and fat-free. There are currently seven types for you to choose from ( russet, red, white, yellow,blue/purple, fingerling and petite).
Leaf greens (Kale,Collard Greens, Turnip Greens, Swiss Chard, Spinach, Mustard Greens, Broccoli, and Red and Green Leaf as well as Romaine Lettuce) might help change the boring salad bowl. They have vitamin as well as being antioxidant.
You can also shop at your local supermarket or even the Dollar Store when you want something quick and easy to fix for a snack or lunch.
You may also try the Morning Star Farm Products they are excellent (for those who want to make the transition from meat to non-meat).
“Eating right and eating healthy is the right choice in life.”
Thank you,
When things get a bit hectic at home, I usually look for a nice picture of something I like. This helps me with the stress I am feeling and the sense of frustration.
Which picture helps you out? What motivates you to move that mountain?
For all the animal lovers……….
“Sometimes life throws us a curve here and there and we may feel that we are all alone.
Yet we are not. Always look around you and find something positive from your struggle. Take a moment and look at the positive of the situation. Learn from your mistake and next time make it better. ”
